Material & Mechanical

PropertiesFabricated from heat-treated medium carbon alloy steel to property class F10T, minimum tensile strength 1000 MPa. Quenching and tempering develop the mechanical values required for structural bolting. Heat-number traceability and certified test reports are supplied.


Head & Installation
The bolt features a button (semi-circular) head above a serrated cylindrical spline. Specialized shear wrenches grip the nut and spline simultaneously; the spline fractures when design tension is reached. Visual spline-off condition confirms correct installation without thread wear or stripping.


Surface Protection
Black oxide finish provides corrosion resistance and a uniform appearance. Hot-dip galvanizing and other coating systems are available for aggressive atmospheric environments.


Assembly & Supply Scope
Each bolt is supplied with matching nut and washer per JIS II 09 assembly requirements. Installation tools are standard electric, pneumatic, or battery-powered shear wrenches calibrated to the fastener’s spline geometry. No post-installation torque verification is needed.
