Product Introduction
Carbon steel hexagon nuts manufactured to DIN 934, ISO 4032, and equivalent national standards. Sizes cover common metric and inch diameters with strength property classes matched to bolt assemblies. Fastener-grade carbon steel provides uniform mechanical properties suitable for general mechanical, structural, and industrial bolting.

Material & Mechanical Properties
Produced from carbon steel wire or bar, cold-formed or hot-forged, then tempered as required. Mechanical values per ISO 898-2, proof load and hardness tested by lot. Classes 8, 10, and 12 are supplied to pair with bolts of corresponding grade, ensuring the nut carries full bolt proof stress without thread stripping.

Geometry & Thread
Internally threaded with ISO metric coarse or fine pitch, and in UNC/UNF for inch-series fasteners. The hex body dimensioned to DIN, ISO, ANSI, JIS, and GB specifications allows use with standard open-end, ring, and socket wrenches. Chamfered entry faces guide bolt engagement and protect lead threads during power-tool assembly.

Corrosion Protection
Zinc electroplated per ASTM B633 or ISO 4042 is standard for indoor and mild environments. Hot-dip galvanized nuts, overtapped to accommodate bolt coating thickness, are specified for outdoor structural steelwork. Other engineered finishes—zinc-nickel, zinc flake, black oxide—are applied based on the required service corrosivity class.
